My last name is Chittenden and I received this desk in an unusual fashion. This is a large oak desk. Except for cleaning out debris I have left the desk as is for someone to refinish or refurbish. The original locking mechanism for the drawers are still in place but needs repaired. I have priced this desk high to weed out any who are not serious about this purchase. I will accept reasonable offer for this antique desk and you will have to pay for and take care of the shipping and handling. I will reply only to reasonable offers. I was meant to get this namesake desk and would want it to go to someone who will take care of it. This is a sturdy desk with legs intact but the feet were not on the desk when I got the desk.
